Supermoon

Just to jump on the supermoon hype that happened on the 17th of June , how amazing was it !!
I thought it would be a perfect time to test my cameras super zoom :)
so i pointed my camera towards the moon and started to zoom after my camera had got over the initial brightness it focused onto the moon
I then stretched the zoom just a little bit further and managed to see even more detail in the moon
Then i really tested the zoom this was at 140% and it was very hard to hold the camera still enough for it to focus but i couldn't believe i was able to zoom so close !! it's a bit blurry around the edges but i never thought i would ever get a photo of the moon quite like i did !
I have got a moon light in my girls room and am going to print off my photos to frame underneath it :)

Love this little camera

I love love love taking photos i have since i was a little girl . I have always just had a cheap point and shoot were i would take photos then to make them look more professional i would photoshop them

However for my birthday this year my family pitched in and gave me money to get a better camera , i was elated to say the least but then i had the hard decision of finding the perfect camera for me .
I looked at DSLR  , i looked at heaps of point and shoots and i just couldn't decide , i then stumbled across the Cannon Powershot sx30IS , i watched you tube videos of people using it and looked at photos people had taken , i liked what i saw so i went out and bought it and i havn't looked back i love it !!
Being a mum i take photos on a daily basis so i needed a camera i didn't have to set up , i also needed one that was easy to take places and most of all that took great photos and that is everything i have received from this beauty of a camera , i will be adding photos that i take so that if there is someone out there that is umming and ahhing over it they may be convinced like i was :)
